Rain Rain Go Away. . .

Just wanted to let you know that the District has activated its Emergency Operations Center in response to the recent weather. The District recommends that residents have emergency supplies on hand, including:

• Flashlights and extra batteries
• Portable, battery-operated radio and extra batteries tuned to a local station
• First aid kit and manual
• Emergency food and bottled water
• A non-electric can opener
• Essential medicines
• Cash and credit cards
• Sturdy shoes

Residents should telephone the Mayor's Call Center at 202-727-1000 to report fallen trees, non-working traffic lights or other weather-related matters.
