Cmdr. Larry McCoy was doing paperwork in his cruiser when he saw the tan Chevrolet TrailBlazer pull into the parking lot at Lamont Street and Georgia Avenue. McCoy said he apprehended the driver as he was trying to rip a stereo out of the back of the SUV. The man was apparently going to try to sell the speaker at the pawn shop.

I am picturing Commander McCoy as T.J. Hooker (William Shatner) pulling out his police baton and throwing it at the fleeing criminal's legs to take him down (this scene was shown in T.J. Hooker's opening credits segment every week). Please say this is how it went down!?!
Oh, and I thought about what McCoy said to him (T.J. Hooker style): "I've got a nice, dark cell for you to sit in, while you think long and hard."
