Teen Robbery Suspects Arrested!

Seven juveniles were taken into custody last night. No word on if they are linked to Logan Circle.

We will post details as they become available.

Would be nice if they were the same kids that egged me on 10th between R and S last nite. I chased them for a bit around the corner on French, but they were way ahead, so I gave up and cursed them out.

Nothing hurt, other than my feelings.

This is great news! We saw 4-6 squad cars last nite at around 930pm cruising 12th from M to the Circle -- lites on, getting outta cars to question pedestrians. it felt great!

In my mind, teenaged robbers plus Halloween equals stay at home...none the less, we had to venture out last night around 10pm against all common sense. We were pleased to see four police cars patrolling the neighborhood.

BRAVO MPD...but considering the juvenile justice system, this is just the beginning of a long battle.

Yeah, actually we got egged last night too. And, noticed eggs on the street on Sunday as well. It was tow young girls who egged us. You black girls with very cute outfits and hair. They were clearly carrying grocery bags.

If it is just egging, I am sure they are already out. I am hoping that they catch up with the ones committing the robberies.

Anyone know of a way that the community can follow up on cases where juveniles are arrested for assaults/roberies. It seems like in some cases the prosecuting attorney drops the charges or maybe the judge dismisses the case.

It would be good to know why this happens.

Maybe a community meeting with the prosecutor would help. Unlike other jurisdictions I dont' think we elect a DA here, so we must be vigilant to make sure the community's concerns are being heard by the prosecuting attorneys.
